Hello from Wooster, Ohio!
Fran, on the left in the photo above, is one of two who are hosting the 8th annual National Dutch Oven Gathering. She received this hand-made crocheted throw tonight when the registration area opened up. This unique work of art represents the passion and committment of Dutch Oven chefs!
Dutch Oven chefs have been arriving all week, but today the camp ground seemed to exlode with RVs and tents. It was fun to see how each one was decorated, celebrating their state (go Texas!) or their dutch oven group. We met old friends and made new friends, some who have never attended a DOG. Tomorrow the event officially begins!
