Putting together a pie in a camp Dutch Oven is a little different from the traditional way of making a pie in a pie pan. The traditional method calls for laying the top crust over the edge of the pie dish, then pinching or sealing the top and bottom together. Since we don’t have an edge to work with, we have to adjust the process and tuck the top crust behind the bottom then gently seal the two together. Check out this one-minute video to see the process in action.
